A number of additional tools and resources are available for those wishing to explore the League of Nations Archives further.

 

League of Nations films

A number of films about the work and activities of the League were made during its existence. These films were transferred to the United Nations Audiovisual Library in New York, where a number of them have been digitized and made available online.

Archives Catalogue

An online, file-level catalogue to the League archives (as well as to certain UNOG collections), containing the full descriptive data for the archives. Currently a work in progress, LONTAD will complete the creation of the catalogue.

This guide is designed as a practical tool intended to facilitate research in the League of Nations archives. It contains information about:  
•    the holdings and structure of the archives
•    catalogues and guides, including PDF files of the Repertoire General
•    research themes, with bibliographies and a selection of primary sources
•    useful databases and online resources
•    links to related collections and further resources

100 Years of Multilateralism in Geneva

To celebrate the evolution of modern multilateralism from the League of Nations to the UN’s Global Agenda, the UN Geneva is organizing a series of activities in 2019 and 2020, together with various partners. The activities, which include seminars, exhibitions, and publication, highlight the legacies of the League of Nations and the development of international cooperation over the past 100 years.
